Seize the Day!
Live your legacy!
Chase your dreams!
Accomplish great things!
You can! You will! Just do it!
Plan your future! Grab your destiny!
SLOW THE FLIP DOWN!!!!
Being. Just being!
I’m currently learning this new skill.
Sometimes it’s okay to wake up and simply meditate for an hour.
Sometimes it’s okay to lie in bed and listen to the rain pitter outside.
You don’t have to go for a ten-kilometre run at dawn to validate your day.
Savour an extra cup of coffee.
Not to give you the energy to get everything done.
No, simply as a tool to help you sit still and watch the world pass by.
…the people buzzing around you, the passing clouds, the rustling leaves…
Or a glass of wine to contemplate the stars to the soundtrack of ocean break.
When was the last time you allowed yourself to laze in bed for an hour just because you can?
When was the last time you lost yourself in conversation without thinking about all the other places you should be and all the other things you should be doing?
When was the last time you read a book?
When we need a job, we tend to make a full-time job out of finding one instead of enjoying the time and freedom unemployment gifts us (Even when brokenness Godzillas over us threatening starvation and residency in a cardboard box)
YOU ARE ALWAYS WHERE YOU ARE MEANT TO BE.
YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE ENOUGH.
(These are two of the most important lessons I keep having to learn.)
So why am I stressing myself out with “To Do” lists?
Why am I striving to get all the “important” stuff and things done?
Why am I running circles around my own life?
Why am I trying to construct a future without laying the present foundation right?
Because I need to validate myself.
I need to give worth to my Gypsy existence.
I need… I need… I need… We all “NEED”…
WE NEED TO SLOW THE FLIP DOWN!
I have entitled this chapter of my life “Doing the Impossible.”
And so far it has been a raging success!
To do impossible things, you need to be ready for them:
You need to be rested.
You need to have clear vision.
You need to have inner strength.
You need to believe in yourself.
You need to be ready for the impossible!
2020 has been one of the craziest years, but what has it taught you?
My list is extensive, but I need to highlight the value in SLOWING THE FLIP DOWN!
Marvel at nature!
Love yourself and be kind to you, you have no idea how remarkable you are and you better believe it, how else are you going to accomplish the impossible?
