How fast is your heart racing right now? Is it beating at all?
Lately mine has alternated between the flat-lining that comes from indecision, overwhelm, and this-is-too-damn-hard; and that racing rush of adrenaline that says “this is what you were born to do”, “this is amazing!”, “you got this”. It’s like someone hits me with a defibrillator every other day to bring me back to life.

One minute, life is a cascade of minuscule miracles; the next, it’s a daily grind against the wall. Skip a night’s sleep, and suddenly your eyes of positivity are nowhere to be found. Fail more times than you win, and even you start questioning your mission.
When you hit the wall enough times, you knock yourself out. And normally, your heart stops with it.
We’re all riding the rollercoaster of life. Some of us hop off in the lows and decide it’s a safer place to set up camp: pretty much putting ourselves on life support.
Routine. The motions. A dead-beat relationship. Corporate (The bad kind… you know what I mean).

Some of us hop off at the top and to stay alive we have to run!
An overly busy life. Cheap thrills. Crazy adventures. Dancing in rings of fire.
Our heart races like it’s overdosed on caffeine. Our soul struggles to keep up.
We’re extremists. Saboteurs. Visionaries. Optimists. Survivors. Pessimists. Empathetic. Cruel. Funny. Wise. Incredibly stupid. Human.

What were you born for? Maybe you know? Maybe you’re still working that out?
But one thing is for certain: we didn’t win the sperm race to simply exist. We were born to be [FULLY] alive. And that has all the emotions and notions attached.
Actually, life isn’t just a rollercoaster; it’s an EPIC theme park!
It’s amazing and horrifying and exhilarating and funny and sad and hard and easy and fun, and it will eventually kill you. (Not any time soon, I hope!) You never know what will happen next.
Try new ‘rides’, take risks, sit down and marvel sometimes, do impossible things, eat an ice-cream once in a while. Smile and cry and embrace all the emotions. Explore! Get outside your comfort zone. Prepare to be surprised. Talk to strangers, we’re all in this epic adventure together.
